WEST Vancouver District Mayor Ron Wood (left) and artist Brian Romer stand on Eagleridge Bluff, with a painting of the area recently created by Romer. The bluff - which includes a section of the Baden Powell Trail, unique wetlands, and stands of Sitka spruce and arbutus trees - could be destroyed by an overland expansion of the Sea to Sky Highway. Romer has donated the painting to the district to aid in its fight to save the bluff by pressing for a tunnel expansion.
