O2 boost a
perk, not necessity
The North Shore News carried an advertisement on July 10 entitled Are You
Getting Enough Oxygen. While I won't comment on any one individual's need for
more oxygen, I would like to point out to readers that, contrary to the
advertisement's implications, the world's atmospheric oxygen percentage is not
depleting in any significant way.

Court
system seems slow and selective
I read with great interest Jane Seyd's story, Woman Pleads Guilty in Fatal
Highway Crash (North Shore News, Friday, Sept. 9) and hope there will be some
follow-up.

News' Katrina story concise and moving
Jane Seyd's interview with Rene Bernklau (NV Paramedic Part of Katrina Victim Search, North Shore News, Sept. 7) was the best story I have read on the Vancouver Search and Rescue Team's efforts in Louisiana.
