Add a nominal toll for tunnel users
The total cost of an overland freeway through the Eagleridge Bluffs wilderness will not be known until courts decide the true cost of expropriated land. As the money offered for the properties appears to be a fraction of the true cost, the tunnel may in fact be a cheaper option.

Destroying the gorgeous area of Eagleridge Bluffs is insane. Falcon's excuses that safety is paramount and that environmental groups have approved the planned desecration are just excuses - the whole story is really about money.

We've impacted habitat since Capt. Vancouver
I just wonder where the NIMBYs were back 35-40 years ago when those million-dollar bungalows were being erected in Caulfeild, Eagle Harbour, Fisherman's Cove and Horseshoe Bay and infringing on the habitat of the endangered bumpy toad and insomniac owlet. Bob Dylan's Blowin' in the Wind comes to mind.
